The Brief

A Cosy Home for Education Conversations

The Education Lounge podcast set out to open up conversations on teaching, learning and the future of education. The challenge was to create a brand identity that could work seamlessly across audio, video and digital platforms.

The brief was to deliver a complete multimedia system that could grow with the show. This included a logo, thumbnails and a professional video editing workflow to repurpose content across platforms. Finally, a dedicated website was needed to centralise episodes, transcripts and supporting resources, giving the podcast a permanent home and platform for expansion.

The Outcome

A Cohesive Multimedia Identity

We delivered a complete identity system for the podcast. The Education Lounge logo was designed as a clean, flexible mark supported by a wider visual language for thumbnails, graphics and web assets. Each episode was video-edited for YouTube and repurposed for audio platforms, supported by custom artwork. A dedicated website was built to house episodes and transcripts, giving the podcast a consistent, professional presence across YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and its own hub.

A previous production of mine was even repurposed as the show’s theme tune!

The Process

We began with discovery sessions to define the purpose and positioning of The Education Lounge, mapping out the themes, audience and tone that would give the podcast its unique identity. These early conversations shaped the structure of episodes and laid the foundation for a recognisable, professional brand.

All episodes were recorded in our dedicated podcast studio, a professional space built to deliver clean audio and multicam video capture. This setup removed the technical barriers, giving the hosts a reliable, high-quality environment that allowed them to focus on the conversation while we handled production.

Each recording was carefully edited for clarity and pace. Audio was cleaned and balanced, video was synced across multiple cameras, and branded intro/outro sequences were added. Custom thumbnails and graphics were designed to maintain a consistent identity across YouTube and podcast platforms, giving each release a professional finish.

Final episodes were exported in platform-specific formats and distributed to YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Alongside this, we designed and built a dedicated website to host episodes, transcripts and resources, ensuring the podcast had a central hub as well as a wide distribution reach.

The Studio

The Education Lounge recordings were produced in our dedicated studio space, using professional lighting, cameras and microphones to create a consistent, high-quality look and sound. The studio setup was used flexibly across interview panels, solo recordings and round-table discussions, supported by an in-house editing suite for post-production.

Branding

A bold visual identity created to anchor the podcast across platforms. From the core Education Lounge logo to supporting assets such as episode thumbnails and graphics, the branding was designed to feel clean, modern and instantly recognisable. The result is a professional and approachable style that reinforces the show’s credibility and reach.

Podcast Website Build

A dedicated podcast website was designed and developed to host episodes, transcripts and supporting resources. Built for accessibility and ease of use, the site acts as a central hub where audiences can catch up on episodes, find related content and explore additional resources. This ensures the show has a permanent home beyond YouTube and audio platforms.

Podcast Episodes

Episodes were produced and edited for YouTube, Spotify and other audio platforms, with each video supported by custom thumbnail artwork. The content strategy included long-form discussions, highlights and shorts, ensuring the podcast connected with different audiences across multiple formats.
